Error starting data acq app

When attempting to start the data acq app I get an error message stating the app is all ready running, but when I attempt to start the XY viewer an error stating the data accq must be started first. Any ideas?

It sounds like there are processes associated with WinDaq already running in the background.

Try re-starting Windows and running WinDaq and the XY Viewer again.

Thanks, I have tried that and do not know which process it might be. I will quit any thing that looks like it is related to Windaq

The processes run in the background.

Look for processes that start with 'DI', such as DICOM... or DISCN...

There may also be a process that starts with WDQDK (depending on the instruments that you're using).
