Communication LabView 2010 and digital channels of DI-148U

I'm trying to develop an application in LabView 2010 that needs to acquire data of the digital channels of DI-148U data acquisition board.
The falling edges of a digital signal trigger a reading of a analog channel. I don't know which functional block method (Method for WINDAQLib.WinDaq Class) I should use to manipulate the digital signal and how to do it.

Note that the DI-148U have been obsolete for several years.

You might consider it's contemporary replacement, the DI-149 (with a .NET class).
