In Control Panel Power Options, make sure that the computer is configured to never sleep. The problem may also be caused by voltage spikes on the inputs that interfere with USB communication. Disconnect all signal wires, and if the problem disappears, try using a shorter USB cable.

thank you very much, but I need a command or an event that allows me to restart the DATAQ-155 without having to do it manually, as it is a monitoring system must be working alone.

If the device hangs up from low USB power voltage or EMI on the USB cable and ending your program and process DICOM1xx does not remove it from the Task Manager Processes list, only cycling power or restarting the computer will allow it to recover.

On http://www.usbcable.com/94-3996-USB-A-Plug-to-USB-Mini-B-Plug-94-3996.htm?productId=26 you could order a 1 ft. (best) or 3 ft. cable. If the problem persists with a shorter cable, add a clamp-on ferrite choke from http://www.radioshack.com/radioshack-snap-together-ferrite-choke-core/2730105.html#tabsetBasic. The most extreme EMI may require the UISOHUB4 optically-isolated USB hub for $287.00 from
http://www.plccenter.com/en-US/Buy/B-AND-B%20ELECTRONICS/UISOHUB4, or about $347 with power supply.
