Display, Acquire and Analyze Data on a MacBook or Chromebook

For years, the only way to display and acquire data using a Mac and a DATAQ data logger, was to install a virtual Windows application. Our proprietary WinDaq data acquisition software will not run on a Chromebook, macOS or iOS machine.

With the introduction of the WinDaq Direct Suite, that all changes.

WinDaq Direct Acquisition and Direct Waveform Browser are a web browser-based applications, supporting Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Opera. The applications are 100% secure, and requires no installation.

Simple switch your DI-1100, DI-2160, DI-2108, DI-2108P, DI-4108E/M, DI-4208E/M, DI-4718B, DI-4730 or DI-2008 (firmware update may be required) to CDC communication mode and navigate to the WinDaq Direct Acquisition webpage.

WinDaq Direct Acquisitoin

The WinDaq Direct Acquisition application allows you to display real time data, at throughput sample rates up to 160 kHz. You can overlap waveforms, display real-time XY plots and/or FFTs and create a Math Channel (calculated).

Using the Math Channel, you can calculate values such as frequency, RMS or moving average. Those values can be displayed alongside the source channel(s) in real time.
