SUPPLIER QUALIFICATION STATEMENT from DATAQ Instruments


1. Company Overview

DATAQ Instruments is a privately held U.S.-based small business. We design, manufacture, and supply electronic instrumentation and related products. We have been in continuous operation since 1984.


2. Annual Revenue

Privately held company. Revenue information is confidential; range available upon request under NDA.


3. Scope of Operations

  • Electronic product design and assembly

  • Functional testing and verification

  • Calibration of instrumentation (where applicable)

  • Commercial off-the-shelf component integration

4. Quality Management

While we are not ISO-certified and do not maintain a formal ISO-style Quality Assurance Manual, we follow established internal procedures to ensure product quality, including:

  • Incoming inspection of purchased components

  • Functional testing of all finished products prior to shipment

  • Calibration control of test equipment

  • Serial number tracking (where applicable)

  • Documented corrective action process for RMAs

  • Continuous product improvement based on field feedback

Quality oversight is managed directly by company leadership due to our small organizational size.


5. Special Processes

We do not perform captive special processes (e.g., welding, plating, heat treatment, sterilization, NDT).
Where specialized fabrication is required (e.g., PCB manufacturing or machining), we utilize established commercial suppliers.


6. Sub-Tier Suppliers

We procure standard electronic and mechanical components from reputable commercial suppliers. No regulated special process suppliers are utilized.


7. Regulatory & Compliance

Products are commercial/industrial electronic instruments. Where applicable, we comply with relevant environmental and materials regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH) based on supplier declarations.


8. Financial Stability

DATAQ Instruments is financially stable and operates without external debt obligations impacting production continuity.

Due to our small size, operational oversight is centralized, enabling rapid decision-making and direct management of supply chain and production.
