AI in Google Sheets

After WinDaq Cloud Link collects large amounts of data in Google Sheets, how can you efficiently analyze it?

One promising approach is AI. With a paid Google Workspace subscription (14 day trial available), Google Sheets includes experimental AI capabilities that can help you quickly identify patterns, exceptions, and other useful insights in your data.

 

Quick Demo:

1. Open a Google Sheet such as ProductionRun, generated by WinDaq Cloud Link.

2. In an empty cell — E16 in this example — enter:
    =AI("Find any unusual values in the data. When one is found, return the value and its associated timestamp.", Table1)
    Here, Table1 refers to the selected data range, created by drawing a rectangular box around the full dataset.

3. Click Refresh and Insert, and Google Gemini will analyze the table. In this example, it identifies the two unusual values, 2 and 4, and returns them along with their timestamps.
