WinDaq Data
Acquisition software allows you to view and record data in real time to
your PC. When you choose a device and Start
WinDaq
a live display appears on the screen.
Click on the device (or devices)
you would like to run WinDaq.
You may choose: (a) one Unsynced device; or (b) multiple Synced devices
from the same Synced group.
Click on the Start
WinDaq button. You may have multiple devices open by performing
steps 1 to 2 for each desired instrument whether it is in an Unsynced
or Synced group - however these devices will not record synchronous data.
If you are running a group of Synced devices together (i.e., a Session)
the Change
Session Settings
dialog box will open. You MUST enter desired settings - you may not change
them for that session once WinDaq
is open.
One instance of WinDaq
Acquisition software will open for each device.
Change channel settings, calibration,
and display options independently for each device using each instance
of WinDaq. Most WinDaq
menu items are available when recording synced devices with the following
exceptions: The Open and Record menu items in the File Menu are not available;
The Triggered Mode, Triggered Storage, and Remote Storage menu items in
the Options Menu are not available.
Click the Start Recording button to record
data from synced devices to disk. Press F4
or use the File > Record command
in WinDaq Acquisition to
record data from each unsynced device to disk.
