i = 07

DeviceID = "nnnnnnnn"

nnnnnnnn = the first 8 hexadecimal characters of the device serial number
For a single device, or to open all connected devices in order of increasing serial number, use "00000000"6

DI-1110

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI31iNT.DLL"

i = 07

DeviceID = "nnnnnnnn"

nnnnnnnn = the first 8 hexadecimal characters of the device serial number
For a single device, or to open all connected devices in order of increasing serial number, use "00000000"6

DI-1120

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI33iNT.DLL"

i = 07

DeviceID = "nnnnnnnn"

nnnnnnnn = the first 8 hexadecimal characters of the device serial number
For a single device, or to open all connected devices in order of increasing serial number, use "00000000"6

DI-2008

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI35iNT.DLL"

i = 07

DeviceID = "nnnnnnnn"

nnnnnnnn = the first 8 hexadecimal characters of the device serial number
For a single device, or to open all connected devices in order of increasing serial number, use "00000000"6

DI-2108

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI32iNT.DLL"

i = 07

nnnnnnnn = the first 8 hexadecimal characters of the device serial number
For a single device, or to open all connected devices in order of increasing serial number, use "00000000"6

DI-2108-P

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI34iNT.DLL"

i = 07

DeviceID = "nnnnnnnn"

nnnnnnnn = the first eight hexadecimal characters of the device serial number
For a single device, or to open all connected devices in order of increasing serial number, use "00000000"6

DI-4108, DI-4208, DI-4718B, DI-4730 USB

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI36iNT.DLL"

i = 07

DeviceID = "nnnnnnnn"

nnnnnnnn = the first 8 hexadecimal characters of the device serial number
For a single device, or to open all connected DI-4208, DI-4108, or DI-1120 devices in order of decreasing model number and increasing serial number within each model, use "00000000"6

DI-4108, DI-4208, DI-4718B, DI-4730 Ethernet

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI37iNT.DLL"

i = 07

DeviceID = Pointer to IP address or multiple IP addresses separated by commas (first item could be preceded by an unsigned 32-bit PublicKey for a ChannelStretch group and comma). WinDaq Dashboard uses the 32-bit time value in seconds since 1970 as a key.

DI-400, DI-401, and DI-410

DeviceDriver = "DI40nNT.DLL"

DeviceID = n

n=WinRT virtual device #4

DI-710, DI-715B, and DI-718B, and DI-718Bx Ethernet versions

DeviceDriver = "DI6nnNT.DLL"

nn =0 to 39 are reserved

40 to 69 for DI-710-E, DI-715B-E instruments

70-99 for DI-718B-E and DI-718Bx instruments5

DeviceID = IP address (example "192.168.1.0")

or

DeviceID = IP address:Port (for Remote Devices - example "192.168.1.0:10001")

DI-720/730/740/760-EN

DeviceDriver = "DI8nnNT.DLL"

DeviceID = IP address (example "192.168.1.0")

nn = the order of WinDaq/IP installation - look in c:\windows\tpdataq.ini

DI-500/510/720/730/740/750/760-P

DeviceDriver = "DI50nNT.DLL"

DeviceID = n

n = LPT#

Same as other systems for 32-bit versions, but N/A for 64-bit systems.

DI-720/730/740/760-USB

N/A

Same as XP

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI72nNT.DLL"

n =DeviceID = USB ID of the device

DI-700

N/A

Same as XP

N/A

DeviceDriver = "DI70nNT.DLL"

n = DeviceID = USB ID of the device

 1The DI-145, DI-148U, DI-149, DI-155, DI-158U/UP, DI-245, and DI-71x USB versions all use a virtual COM port. Some products use a virtual COM port even though they may have an alternate interface connection (like USB). Such products use the serial port device driver and ID. For a list of devices using a Virtual COM Port see Virtual COM Ports.

2DeviceName = Model number of the device. BaudRate = the baud rate. For a listing of baud rates see Baud Rate. For Example: For a DI-158U installed at COM 2 with 38400 Baud the DeviceID = "COM2 158 38400"; a DI-145 installed at COM 8 would be: "COM8 145 4800".

3As specified during installation of the device. COM port numbers of 01 to 99 are supported. Example: For a Serial device installed to COM 1 the DeviceDriver=DI101NT.DLL. Go to Virtual COM Ports for instructions on finding the correct COM port.

4Virtual Device # can be found in c:\Windows\tpdataq.ini, or at the end of the WinDaq installation.

5The order of WinDaq/IP installation - look in title bar of WinDaq Acquisition when running device or check your installation directory for file(s) named WDQDK6nn.EXE.

6Starting WinDaq acquisition with V3.89 or later sets DLLName= and DeviceID= in the TPDATAQ.INI [Global] section, which become the default DeviceDriver and DeviceID if not set by a program using WinDaq.ocx or DataqSdk.ocx.

7Or other digit if using multiple unsynchronized devices or synchronized groups.
