Delete TPDATAQ.ini and re-install WinDaq software

Symptoms

After selecting Save Default Setup from the File pull-down menu and restarting WinDaq, calibration settings are not retained.

Selecting Open Reference File from the File pull-down menu and choosing a previously recorded data file does not transfer calibration settings into WinDaq.

Cause

Resolution

To resolve these issues follow the steps below.

Delete TPDATAQ.ini and re-install WinDaq software

1. Locate TPDATAQ.INI in the WINDOWS directory, and delete it.
2. Download the latest installation from: http://www.dataq.com/support/downloads/new710.exe.
3. Run the new installation software that you just downloaded, installing the application over top of the existing installation.

The software should now operate properly.
