Introducing WinDaq Expert (and Basic) Mode

For decades, customers have used WinDaq data acquisition software to acquire and analyze data. Over the course of time, many features and upgrades have been added. While those additions are critical for some, most are seldom if ever used by a majority of customers.

To help declutter, and hide seldom used menu items, WinDaq now defaults to “basic” mode. In basic mode, only oft-used menu items are displayed. These include menu items like ‘Sample Rate’, ‘Engineering Unit Settings’ and ‘Record’; all of which are used for basic setup and data acquisition.

While more advanced options and features are not displayed in basic mode, they haven’t been removed!

In the WinDaq Dashboard, choose ‘Expert Mode’ from the ‘Configure’ pull-down menu to display all menu items and features.
